Richard is a highly skilled creative from the northern forests of Sweden, currently based in Stockholm. With his expertise as a Design Director, he leads and manages design teams while ensuring the maintenance and improvement of digital design systems. In his pursuit of growth and development as a top-tier designer in his field, Richard takes on freelance projects to challenge himself and gain new insights.
Richard is a seasoned former professional photographer and now a digital designer with over 38 years of experience in the creative industry. He has an impressive portfolio, having worked with artists, record labels, festivals, magazines, and even international superstars. His work has been featured in popular publications such as Business Insider, Wired, and Rolling Stone Magazine, and has gone viral on social media multiple times.
Richard's diverse experience extends beyond photography and design. He has also worked as a communicator for Piteå municipality and as a representative for the EU, evaluating youth projects across Europe. His work has even been featured on the front page of The Pirate Bay, a site with over 10 million daily visitors!
Richard's expertise in digital design led him to co-found Centigo Studios at the Centigo consultancy, an initiative aimed at helping clients with their UX and UI-related needs. He later moved on to become the Design Director at Clas Ohlson, a well-established Nordic retailer, where he defined ways of working with digital design in the organization and basically retransformed and redesigned their entire ecommerce website and apps.
Currently, Richard is a Design Director at Simplitude, working on some truly awesome projects. His vast experience and creative passion make him an invaluable asset to any team, and his impressive portfolio speaks for itself.
