Hello, I am Richard.

I am a designer who once were a kid growing up the north of Sweden, where long winters, darkness and endless silence surrounded me. Creating things became my way to stay inspired, to build stories from nothing and make something out of stillness. What started as a way to fill empty hours turned into a lifelong obsession with design, storytelling and impact.

Today I live in Stockholm, leading design teams and helping brands grow through meaningful digital experiences. I love the mix of strategy and creativity, the balance between logic and emotion, and the challenge of turning complex ideas into something simple enough to feel natural.

Before I moved into design, I spent years as a professional photographer, touring with artists and working with record labels, magazines and festivals. My work appeared in Business Insider, Wired, Rock Sound Magazine and Rolling Stone and countless other places. That world taught me how to tell stories visually and stay calm in chaos - skills that still shape how I design today.

I’m a design and product leader now based in Stockholm with nearly two decades in UX, UI and digital transformation. I’ve worked with global brands and award-winning products and built design offices from the ground up, but what drives me most is turning complex problems into experiences that feel effortless to use. I sometimes take on freelance projects to stay sharp, learn new perspectives and challenge how I think about design.

I’ve been fortunate to see my work recognised internationally, go viral and be implemented on a global scale, but what matters most is creating things that feel alive, useful and built to last.

Still the same kid from the north, just with better tools.
